Advancing the startup ecosystem in Aichi

500 Startups is collaborating with the Aichi Prefectural Government to launch the new initiative called “Accelerate Aichi by 500 Startups.” It is designed to develop and grow the startup ecosystem within Aichi, building a strong base for startups to land and work in the region.

There are 3 types of programs – Growth Program, Landing Pad, and Corporate Innovation Program – planned under Accelerate Aichi by 500 Startups which are all aimed at creating successful startups, building an innovation culture, and stimulating ecosystem growth in Aichi Prefecture.

Key Components

A 6-week Growth Program designed with the aim to accelerate 20 early-stage local startups

A 10-week Landing Pad market-access program that aims to bring 20 international startups to Aichi

A series of sessions under Corporate Innovation Program curated for business units and innovation teams of corporations in Aichi

This program aims to provide a window to global innovation insights and best practices in corporate innovation, allowing corporations to structure both their local Japanese innovation strategy and international innovation plans, particularly in partnering with international startups.

500 Startups and Aichi Prefectural Government will be hosting a virtual information session on Corporate Innovation Program under Accelerate Aichi by 500 Startups.

We will be sharing the objective and overview of Accelerate Aichi and Corporate Innovation Program followed by a Q&A session. This information session will be mainly conducted in Japanese.
