Patrick manages operations for 500 Startups’ multiple Venture Capital Unlocked programs in partnership with universities, governments, corporations, and other institutions in the US and abroad.  In this role, he oversees program coordination; communication with partners; recruitment and vetting of participants; preparation; and best practice creation. He is experienced in investor/lender education, curriculum design, strategic planning, and program management. 

Prior to 500 Startups, Patrick served as a Lender Relations Specialist with the US Small Business Administration, where he led training for lenders including HSBC, JP Morgan Chase Bank, East West Bank, US Bank and more. He has also served with the US Peace Corps in Senegal as a Community Economic Development Agent where he led customer-centric training in business management, microfinance, agriculture, and lending practices.  

He has a MA in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration and a BA in International Relations and Business Management and speaks Spanish and Senegalese Wolof. He has lived in Mexico, Colombia, Senegal, France, and the US.
