Are there any scholarship opportunities for the accepted applicants?

500, in collaboration with the Stanford Center for Professional Development, offers two full scholarships ($9,999) for underrepresented early-stage investors, especially women and/or people of color.

The Diversity Scholarship decisions for 2021 have been announced.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be nominated by a peer or colleague. Nominators do not need to be a part of the venture world, they can be founders you have helped, mentors, and anyone who can speak to the candidate’s interest in early-stage investing and empowering founders. If selected for the next round, candidates must fill out the application form, including the supplemental scholarship questions. It is recommended that applicants submit their responses as early as possible.

Does the course require a full-time commitment?

The program will be a mix of live-virtual and pre-recorded content. We expect you to dedicate roughly 12 hours per week, which includes the live-virtual sessions, pre-recorded content, peer groups, independent work, and final presentations. Live-virtual classes will be held at 8am PT (subject to change).

What is your cancellation policy?
Participants can cancel with a full refund until August 31, 2021.
Where will the program take place?
